Type A:
Fires are from combustible materials such as: wood, paper, cloth, etc. The fire can be extinguished by:
- Hose reels
- CO2 extinguishers
- ABC dry chemical extinguisher
- Fire blankets
Type B:
Fires are from flammable liquids such as gasoline, oil, paint, solvents and electrical short. The fire can be extinguished by:
- Fire blankets
- CO2 extinguishers
- ABC dry chemical extinguishers
Note: Do not use water in this case.
Type C:
Fires are from electrical equipments such as switches, motors, etc. without any conductive elements. The fire can be extinguished by:
- CO2 fire extinguishers
- ABC dry chemical extinguishers
- Fire blankets (no physical contact to any power source).
Note: Do not use water in this case.
